At Pacini, the potential for growth is huge. And the plan to maximize it is simple.
1. We are committed to continuing to increase brand awareness. To that end, Pacini constantly invests in brand development through various communication activities, locally and provincially.
2. We are committed to developing new markets and new products. Although the potential remains untapped in Quebec, Pacini keeps an eye on Canada-wide development. We opened a new restaurant in Calgary and with the success of this expansion, we have articulated a plan for growth in Western Canada. To sustain growth, we have developed and marketed new products in supermarkets (e.g., Pacini olive oils and balsamic vinegar). In our restaurants, we have a structured plan for improving and updating the offer. And we renew our menu at least twice a year.
3. We champion an extraordinary project. Being part of the Pacini team is also being part of a larger project than just operating a restaurant. We want to contribute to the well-being of the population. So we have eliminated all artificial trans fats from our menus. Even today, we are one of the only chains in North America to do so. Also, we have eliminated plastic water bottles from the chain, thus avoiding a shameful waste. In addition, for many years we have supported the Fondation de l’hôpital Sainte-Justine as well as other organizations.
4. We are determined to remain profitable. Pacini’s profitability plan is based on disciplined growth and innovation. For us, every restaurant must be profitable. To get there, following our operating standards is crucial. We apply great effort and support to this. We expect our franchisees to do likewise. Another unique competitive advantage is our famous employee recognition plan, which has reduced turnover significantly, thereby maximizing our restaurants’ human capital. With Pacini, the franchisee can be assured to maximize the success of his or her business.
