What is the initial franchise fee?
Pacini requests $50,000 as an initial franchise fee, which includes the exclusive right to operate a Pacini restaurant in a defined territory, the right to use the Pacini brand and operating system for the duration of the contract and costs of initial training for the franchisee.
Note: The head office is responsible for the salaries of the training team. All other expenses related to training (including expenses for accommodation, transport, etc.) are paid by the franchisee.
What are the royalty fees?
Royalties are 5% of sales. Advertising costs are 4% of sales.
What is the amount of investment required?
Pacini requires an investment of between $1.2 and 1.4 million, depending on the work required to construct the restaurant.
How much cash do I need personally?
The franchisee’s personal contribution is between 35% to 50% of the investment amount.
What are the financing options?
Pacini will assist you in obtaining financing.
What is the profitability of a Pacini franchise?
It is difficult to determine profitability because many factors can influence the results. We will work with you to establish the threshold of profitability for the project and we will validate your financial projections so that they remain realistic.
How long is the franchise contract?
The contract has a term of 10 years with two 5-year options.
Can I invest in a Pacini franchise without being a manager?
Yes, we accept multiple shareholders as long as a team member is dedicated full time to the operation of the restaurant and holds at all times a minimum of 10% of the shares.
How are franchisees selected?
We have implemented a comprehensive process of selection and allocation of franchises that requires several steps. For us and for you, it’s a guarantee of making the right long-term choice.
What are the qualities you seek in franchisee candidates?
First, it is not necessary to be a restaurateur. However, we are looking for individuals who display leadership, are good at communicating and have management experience. We value very much the creation of a relationship based on respect and values to achieve common goals.
Do I participate in the daily operations of my restaurant?
The designated operator is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the restaurant and its business development. The involvement of other partners is at their discretion.
Must the products be purchased from Pacini?
Yes, from Pacini or suppliers approved by Pacini, and authorized distributors who deliver products needed to stimulate sales. We want our franchisees to be dedicated to the operation of their restaurant and its business development.
What is the size of a typical Pacini restaurant?
Our restaurants are approximately 5,000 square feet with an approximate capacity of 180 seats.
Who chooses the location of a new Pacini restaurant?
Pacini selects the site.
After approval, how long does it take to build a new Pacini restaurant?
At least 12 weeks.
Are franchises available in multiple units?
Yes. However, the criteria for operating a second site is very clear: your restaurant or restaurants must be profitable, the funding must conform to the standards we've established, you must be a successful franchisee, and you must demonstrate the ability to manage more than one restaurant.
